Congratulations to Professor Hayirli of Mei Ke Jing manufacturer, Favit, on being awarded one of the world's most efficient and influential scientists.

Professors John PA Ioannidis, K. W. Boyack, and J. Baas of Stanford University published an article titled "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators" in the journal PLOS Biology, announcing that Professor Armagan Hayirli (Ataturk Univeristy) was included in the list of the world's most influential scientists in 2020.
In November 2020, Stanford University Professor John Ioannidis and colleagues published a list of the world's most influential and impactful scientists in PLOS Biology.
According to this research, Professor Hayirli, head of the Farmavet International scientific team and manager of the Farmavet R&D company in the Ataturk Univeristy technology park, ranked 57th globally in dairy nutrition and management, 4th in animal husbandry, and 1st in Turkey in dairy nutrition.
Professor Hayirli's Profile
Professor Hayirli graduated from the Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and worked as a field technician for ÖzhenFeed-Nar broiler company for two years.
Concurrently, he pursued doctoral studies in poultry production under the supervision of Professor Tahir Aksoy. In 1995, he successfully obtained a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education for overseas studies.
After receiving ESL education at ODTÜ (Middle East Technical University), he completed language instruction at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. In 1997, he received his master's degree from Iowa State University of Science and Technology with a thesis titled "Peripartum Protein Feeding in Dairy Cows"; in 2001, he received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a dissertation titled "Amelioration of Negative Energy Balance in Peripartum cows".
In 2001, he developed a mathematical model for "Nutrient Requirements of Dairy Cattle" for the US National Research Council. Between 2005 and 2007, at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, he obtained a doctorate with research on "Supreesion of Hepatic Lipidosis via Feeding Oil Seed Meals".
In 2010, he served as a visiting lecturer at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden, working on research on "Paripartum Hemodynamic Balance".
From 2012 to 2019, he worked with Farmavet International (Salihli, Manisa, Turkey) at AtaTeknoPark (the R&D and innovation incubation park of Ataturk University).
Professor Hayirli has an H-index of 24 and has published 98 full-text scientific research articles and compilations in SCI journals. He contributes to several journals as an editor and reviewer.
He continues to teach veterinary medicine, animal nutrition, and nutritional diseases at Ataturk University (Erzurum, Turkey).
