Veterinary drug registration and local standard review meeting held in Beijing --- April 25, 2007

　　From April 17th to 20th, 2007, the Veterinary Drug Review Center of the Ministry of Agriculture held a technical review meeting on veterinary drug registration and local standards in Beijing. Director Yu Kangzhen and Deputy Director Gao Guang attended the meeting, along with 22 experts from universities, research institutions, and provincial veterinary drug inspection institutes across the country.

　　This meeting conducted a technical review of 18 chemical drug registration varieties and 50 veterinary drug local standards for upgrading to national standards, and provided specific opinions. The convening of this meeting marks the beginning of the technical review phase for veterinary drug local standards included in the acceptance catalog, and officially launches the second round of review for upgrading veterinary drug local standards to national standards.
